The Art of knowing through the Body

Gene Gendlin Focusing method is a powerful tool for accessing what our body knows —knowledge that often go beyond the understanding of our conscious mind. It is a practice that helps awaken, deepen, and refine our ability to tap into this intuitive wisdom, offering clarity when we’re stuck, confused, or in need of direction, as well as when we seek inspiration and insight to move forward.


Focusing involves consciously engaging with the bodily sensations that hold valuable insights into our life’s questions, challenges, and possibilities. Developed from the work of Gene Gendlin and rooted in the psychology of Carl Rogers, Focusing has been applied since the 1960s to various aspects of life, including problem-solving, personal growth, spirituality, and creative expression.


Rather than diagnosing, analyzing, or providing counseling, Focusing is about listening attentively, describing, gently attending and inquiering to your inner experience until its meaning unfolds. In doing so, it often reveals paths forward that were previously unclear.


The term “Focusing” itself is a metaphor for the process of recognizing subtle, often vague somatic sensations and gradually bringing them into clearer focus, much like adjusting a blurry image until it becomes sharp and recognizable.

1:1 sessions

What is a session like?

We’ll begin with a short conversation to connect and clarify what feels most alive or important for you right now. From there, I’ll invite you to settle, relax, and turn your attention inward—gently tuning into your body and inner experience.


Together, we’ll explore what arises: it may be an emotion that wants to be felt, an insight waiting to be seen, or the way your body holds a particular issue or question. I’ll guide the process at first, then gradually support you as your own experience unfolds—offering gentle suggestions while following your unique rhythm.


Each session lasts one hour, creating a space of safety, curiosity, and presence.
