Gene Gendlin Focusing method is a powerful tool for accessing what our body knows —knowledge that often go beyond the understanding of our conscious mind. It is a practice that helps awaken, deepen, and refine our ability to tap into this intuitive wisdom, offering clarity when we’re stuck, confused, or in need of direction, as well as when we seek inspiration and insight to move forward.


Focusing involves consciously engaging with the bodily sensations that hold valuable insights into our life’s questions, challenges, and possibilities. Developed from the work of Gene Gendlin and rooted in the psychology of Carl Rogers, Focusing has been applied since the 1960s to various aspects of life, including problem-solving, personal growth, spirituality, and creative expression.


Rather than diagnosing, analyzing, or providing counseling, Focusing is about listening attentively, describing, gently attending and inquiering to your inner experience until its meaning unfolds. In doing so, it often reveals paths forward that were previously unclear.


The term “Focusing” itself is a metaphor for the process of recognizing subtle, often vague somatic sensations and gradually bringing them into clearer focus, much like adjusting a blurry image until it becomes sharp and recognizable.

What is a session like?


Each session begins with a short, grounding conversation to connect and clarify what feels most alive, tender, or important for you in this moment.

From there, I’ll gently guide you to settle into your body — slowing down, softening, and turning your attention inward. Together, we listen to what your inner experience wants to reveal. This may show up as a sensation, emotion, image, memory, or a quiet knowing.

Rather than analysing or forcing change, we allow space for what is present to unfold naturally. I’ll support you with gentle prompts and reflections, while always following your unique rhythm and inner wisdom.

Over time, you’ll become more confident in sensing and trusting your own body’s guidance.

Each session lasts 60 minutes and offers a calm, safe space for curiosity, compassion, and meaningful shift.
